At tonight’s PLC meeting, the idea was brought forward that a patrol box would be a great addition to the troop’s camping gear. The plan is to being a few plan ideas before the troop – discuss them, and vote on which patrol box plan to build. The SPL said that he would find someone to gather plan ideas to present at the May 4th meeting.

Tonight, AJ brought three plan ideas to the meeting. A discussion ensued about each plans potential, and about what the troop would need from a patrol box. The troop will think about all three plans and vote on the plan to build at the May 11 meeting. (The three plans can be seen here)

The vote is in – Plan A is the box we’ll build. Saturday, May 22 is set aside as a day to gather materials.

Plans for Patrol Box Plan A are procured from Dave Burney with Troop 679 in Ramona, CA. Troop 73 made a $10 donation to Troop 679, and in return Dave provided a very detailed set of drawings for us to build by.  Thanks, Dave!
