John is Evan White’s father. He and his wife, Patty, are Asheville natives. They have three children, Evan, Aaron, and Caroline. “Since I grew up as a boy scout in the Daniel Boone Council, it’s rewarding to see my son enjoying some of the same camps and fun times that I did. Aside from church and family, the principles that Scouting taught me have had the greatest impact on who I am today. I hope that I can have half the influence on these young men that my Scoutmaster, Paul Mann, had on me.” John has completed Wood Badge training (SR-822, Bob White patrol) and is the TSS Photography 2009 Volunteer of the Year – great job, John! John practices dentistry in South Asheville, and owns a private solo practice in the Skyland area.
